Sports Name your favorite sport and chances are you can do it in Munich. Soccer? Skiing? American football? How about some extreme-frisbee in the English Garden? How does blade-night or even surfing in the city sound? Whether you like to swim, ice-skate, ride horses or just ride around on a bike, you can do it in Munich. And because you're enrolled at the LMU Munich, you can take sports and fitness courses through the Central University Sports (Zentral Hochschulsport - ZHS). Recent JYM students also have participated Munich's women's football team, the city marathon and triathlon, an international baseball team, ballroom dancing, and judo competition. On the other hand, if you'd rather do some extreme sitting and just watch everyone else get tired, that's fine too! |
