before receiving her M.A. in German with Distinction from Wayne
State University.
As Academic Coordinator, Sommer Sherrit makes sure that the daily operations of JYM in Munich run smoothly -- from arranging student housing and matriculation at LMU Munich, preparing Orientation and organizing special events, to the issuing of JYM transcripts. Sommer Sherrit brings a wide range of academic and professional experience to JYM. She has been a graduate teaching assistant in the US, recipient of the prestigious WSU-LMU Munich Graduate Exchange Fellowship, and has worked in Munich in the field of intellectual property protection. Sommer Sherrit first came to Munich more than a decade ago, and her knowledge of the city and its opportunities is of great benefit to JYM students. Sommer
