Honors Program for the Study of European Ideas

Endorsed by the Wayne State University Honors Program, and guided by the principles behind residential "learning communities" at US campuses, the Honors Program for the Study of European Ideas allows all JYM students the opportunity to demonstrate qualities that will help them pursue future career goals: self-motivation, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to be challenged.

Participation in special cultural and social activities, guest speaker events, book discussions, internships or volunteer work, the submission of independent research and/or proposals for future fellowship applications (Fulbrights et.al.), are among the student achievements documented in a capstone Honors Portfolio.
