Carl's Chop House (3020 Grand River, across from Motor City Casino; great porterhouse steak!)
Atlas Global Bistro (3111 Woodward Ave., downtown Detroit)
The Whitney (4421 Woodward Ave, downtown Detroit; simply succulent!)
Union Street Saloon (4145 Woodward Ave., best Calamari in town!)

Tom's Oyster Bar (15402 Mack Ave in Grosse Pointe Park - Monday night's jam session of local musicians at the piano bar is simply outstanding - really! And I mean it's really, really good! Lobster Fest on Mondays & Tuesdays for just $14.95 ain't too bad either.
