Congratulations to Wayne State graduate Brian Jaskolski (JYM 2000-01) who recently was hired as an intern in accounting with Global Business Support and now works with German companies.

Congratulations to 2002 Wayne State graduate Jaqueline Farnen who recently accepted a full-time position with the Brandenburg Office of Economic Development in Farmington Hills, MI.
Congratulations to Sarah Brown who was recently hired by the Bosch Corporation (Farmington Hills, MI), and who now works in their International Human Resources department. A graduate of Wayne State University, Sarah previously had an internship which led to a full-time position at the Brandenburg Office of Economic Development in Farmington Hills, MI.
Congratulations to Heidi Rehner who recently started with the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest (Chicago) as Membership Manager and Assistant Editor to the GACCoM's ChamberWay Magazine. Heidi is a Wayne State graduate who received a Fulbright scholarship after graduation, worked in the automotive industry, and completed a M.A. degree at the University of Chicago before joining the GACCoM.
Congratulations to Maria Rousseva (JYM 2000-01) who was recently hired by Edscha of North America, a major German automotive supplier in Auburn Hills, MI. While on the Junior Year in Munich program, Maria had an internship at the Bundestag in Berlin, and then worked for the Brandenburg Office of Economic Development in Farmington Hills after she returned from her year in Munich.
Congratulations to Aaron Harrington (JYM 1990-2000) and Dana Kirby (JYM 2000-01) who were both recently hired by Penske Logistics at Detroit Diesel as International Materials Coordinators. Aaron and Dana are Wayne State graduates who participated in the Junior Year in Munich program. They follow in the footsteps of Wayne State graduates Dan Bielik (JYM 1995-96) and Jon Townsend (JYM 1996-97) who were also hired by Penske Logistics and Detroit Diesel.
Congratulations to Phillip Beckert and Dima Kanakri who were recently hired as interns at the Brandenburg Office of Economic Development in Farmington Hills, MI. Phil and Dima were on the 2001-02 Junior Year in Munich program (JYM). While in Munich, Phil had an internship with the US Commercial Section at the US consulate. Both are completing their studies at Wayne State University.

40 Students from 25 Schools in Munich 2002-03

Congratulations are in order to those university students from across the US who have been accepted to study in Germany with Wayne State's Junior Year in Munch program. The JYM class of 2002-03 is made up of students from the following colleges and universities:

Bowdoin College, Bryn Mawr College, Cornell University, Franklin and Marshall College, Graceland University, Hofstra University, Marquette University, University of Michigan, Millersville University, University of Minnesota, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, Principia College, Rice University, Rutgers University, University of San Francisco, Swarthmore College, University of Texas-Austin, Truman State University, Wayne State University, Wellesley College, Western Washington University, Wheaton College, College of William and Mary, and Winona State University.

If past experience is an indicator, we can expect great things from them when they graduate in 2004!
