Bridge Conference Center
The
German Bridge Conference Center at Wayne State University serves as
a forum to create and strengthen partnerships between higher education
and business in the US and Europe. On February 4, 2002, WSU president
Dr. Irvin D. Reid welcomed Dr. Rolf-E. Breuer,
chairman and CEO of Deutsche Bank AG, to the German Bridge Conference
Center.

- 60 internet Nova workstations for individualized as well as group
instruction
- 24 hour digital satellite broadcasts from Germany and other European
countries
The
German Bridge Conference Center supports:

major conferences for German-American interest groups, the Michigan
automotive industry, and international trade
- venue opportunities for projects which engage Wayne State's JYM institute
in Munich (including video-conferencing)
The
German Bridge Conference Center is one of five rooms included in the
400-seat, World Bridge, Foreign Language Technology Center (FLTC)
on the Detroit campus of Wayne State University.
